Kate Miriam is an accredited British Wheel of Yoga teacher; and has a background working in massage and bodywork, corporate wellbeing, event management and has an extensive work history in support, development and project work within the health, charity and humanitarian sectors both in the UK and abroad. She enjoys practicing, exploring and teaching different yoga styles particularly Yin and Hatha. Kate has a particular interest in the therapeutic and healing aspects of yoga as a mindful, meditative and somatic practice. Kate brings an explorative, fun and compassionate nature, alongside attention to alignment and respect to each individual students needs to her teaching. Kate has experienced first hand the transformative and positive changes that yoga and meditation brings.

Kate first tried yoga aged sixteen and later returned to yoga to manage stress and trauma. Kate is a skilled body-worker who has been studying and working with different complementary therapies since 1996 within a variety of different settings from hospitals, community clinics, spas, cruise ships, holiday resorts and sports centres in the UK and abroad. Kate works with combining elements of Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Shiatsu, Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Thai, Acupressure, Hot Stone, Chinese Tui Na and Trigger Point Massage to bring the best therapeutic treatment to each individual. Along side her own asana practice Kate also regularly practices Vipassana Meditation.
